Our latest Nutista / Stone nutbutter honors two of our favorite fall things: Mexican hot chocolate and Xocoveza, Stone Brewing’s beer equivalent of Mexico’s revered and spiced autumn drink. Like its inspirations, Xocoveza Nutbutter features top notes of cinnamon, cocoa and nutmeg followed by rich chocolate and subtle pepper flavors, and a hint of heat on its finale.
Real talk: this artisan product is crafted without additives or emulsifiers. To get that rich chocolate flavor we use 100% organic roasted cacao nibs, the cacao butter crystals may rise to the top, and create a white or orange speckling or spotting. This is fat and oil separation is occurs naturally, and is safe to eat if within the best by date (located at the bottom of the jar). To reintegrate the nutbutter you can place it in a heat/microwave safe container and reheat it.
